The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) seeks a Systems Developer to assist the NAHB Senior Application Developers in ensuring effective operations and maintenance of NAHB’s systems, including the Association Management System (AMS), in addition to other applications. Participate in the application integration with various third-party and custom applications, custom-built applications, and NAHB’s websites. Assist the ITS development team with all design, coding, implementation, and support aspects. The System Developer will work closely with the Senior Developers to learn the code base, write code, fix bugs, and attend requirements and design meetings.
Assist in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining NAHB’s Association Management System (Aptify). Participate in the NAHB AMS integration with various third-party and custom applications, custom-built applications, and NAHB’s websites.
Participate in the testing of Aptify-based based software solutions.
Perform application verification and validation. Compile data and write reports for applications and other completed projects.
Assist in maintaining and upgrading the existing software applications to meet the Association’s changing needs. Support data conversions by creating SQL scripts and SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS) in SSIS.
Provide support to users for Aptify Desktop and Aptify Web applications as well as other systems developed or managed by the NAHB Information Technology and Services Team.
Assist the NAHB development team in the GAP analysis and reporting requirements for projects.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience developing browser-based solutions with ASP.Net, VB.Net or C#, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS. Deep SQL Server experience is required to utilize Transact-SQL stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers. Experience developing software applications and supporting AMS installations. Aptify experience preferred.
