Where You’ll Work
This position is based in our Lenexa, Kansas. office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the following aspects of meeting planning: document management, registration, logistics, travel, room list management, off-site activity management, ground transportation, on-site management and support.
Plan and manage meeting and conference logistics, including RFP (request for proposal) process, deploying and communicating logistics information, and serving as the primary interface between CHA and venue.
Manage event budgets, contract negotiations and invoices to ensure fiscal responsibility and accuracy.
What You’ll Bring to CHA
Bachelor’s Degree in business, hospitality, or related field.
Minimum of three years’ project management experience in event and meeting management
Minimum of three years’ managing or leading a team in event coordination/meeting planning for large conferences and meetings.
Strong personal computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, experience with conference registration systems preferred
Experience in contract negotiations
An eye for detail and strong project management skills
