Our Section Relationship Manager serves as a trusted advisor and provides consultative services to an AWWA chapter(s) on full scope of association management topic areas with a goal of maximizing operational effectiveness. Our membership spans 43 chapters and this position can make a significant impact on the grassroots efforts of our chapters. Do work that makes a difference every day!
The role is a resource to and consults with chapters in key focus areas:
Member recruitment and retention – support local/national activities
Events – provide support to chapter annual conference and variety of other events
Governance - review and provide guidance on chapter by-laws and assessments
Volunteer/Leadership Management - facilitate training on best practices related to volunteer management
Fiscal – monitor risk management expectations
Position requires up to 30% travel to support programs and activities including annual visit to chapters in assigned region.
Position is based in Denver, CO and relocation is required. Once relocated, we offer hybrid and 9/80 work schedules
Effective chapter relationship building is the foundation to success. Values working with others to achieve goals and collaborates effectively with various stakeholders. Additionally, ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary skills and expertise required for the position
Two years non-profit management experience including working with volunteers, preferably with chapters or in a general membership role with an association
Training and facilitation experience
Proficient in MS Office suite 365
Pay range is $70,000 - $72,000 dependent upon qualifications, and is paired with comprehensive benefits package that includes:
