The Programs & Events Manager assists in effectively and seamlessly administering The WICT Network’s suite of programs consisting of over a dozen professional training programs, one conference, and two award luncheon programs annually. This is a supporting role responsible for working with speakers, staff and volunteers on the planning, execution, and development of profitable educational programs, conferences, online learning webinars, and other initiatives related to the professional development programs that our members and constituents value and support.
Previous experience in an office setting required.
College degree preferred.
Dependable and highly organized with business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with ability to prioritize workload.
General understanding of department financials with ability to track expenses and work within assigned budgets.
Ability to seek out, negotiate and manage third-party vendors with courtesy and ease.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of programs, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Basic knowledge for updating websites and webpages.
Ability to collaborate across departments and support the goals of the organization.
Willingness to travel to programs and events as needed.
