The Coalition for Government Procurement (Coalition) is a Washington D.C.-based non-profit association of firms selling commercial services, products and solutions to the Federal Government. We are unique in the broad scope of industries that we represent—from IT, professional services, and security-related firms to pharmaceuticals and healthcare products. These members include small, medium, and large business concerns. The Coalition is proud to have collaborated with Government officials for more than 40 years in promoting the mutual goal of common-sense acquisition.
The Coalition seeks a candidate to serve as Member Services and Events Coordinator. As a member of the Coalition team, the position will perform association program and administrative responsibilities including:
Supporting the VP of Membership/Marketing and Business Development with the planning and execution of special events such as our annual conferences and other member events
Managing the association’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and generating reports on member activities and engagement
Maintaining and updating content on the Coalition website and Member Portal
Preparing and distributing the association’s weekly publications
Managing nominations for the Excellence in Partnership (EIP) awards and serving as primary liaison for awardees
Providing administrative support for the Coalition President
Supporting member Committee meetings from a logistical and technical perspective
The ideal candidate for the position will have:
Experience planning events and/or meetings
Excellent writing skills
Ability to work independently and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in fast-paced work environment
Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or similar database a plus
