As a member of the Membership department reporting to the Senior Director, Membership, the Members Services Specialist provides high-level customer service to members and responds to member and nonmember inquiries in a timely manner; and maintains accurate and current information of all investment companies and their affiliated companies and contacts in the membership database system.
Essential functions of this role include:
Assist with processing, updating, and retrieving fund and company records in the membership database in a timely manner using information from N-CEN filings and outside information sources to maintain the most accurate information available.
Process and input information on company mergers, fund mergers and liquidations, which requires research, judgment and interpretation of companies’ affiliations and corporate relationships.
Assist with the administration, collection and processing of the asset verification reports and subsequent membership dues statements.
Assist members with inquiries regarding the membership dues which include resolving dues discrepancies and revisions due to fund and company changes.
In conjunction with Senior Director – Membership Services, work with Research Department to track and develop information on CITs and SMAs products in the membership and research databases.
Assist with the conversion of existing membership database into a customer relationship management (CRM) database, development of contact/marketing interests for individuals, liaise with Institute staff regarding engagement with members.
Provide high-level customer service to members and nonmembers and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Performs data pulls to create and generate reports, as directed, using the membership database via SQL and PowerBi.
Other tasks and functions, as directed.
If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:
Bachelor’s degree.
3-5 years’ experience in a customer relations role as well as experience managing a sizable database system.
Experience with SQL highly preferred.
