The Media Financial Management Association (MFM) located in Northfield, IL seeks an ambitious association professional for a Membership Engagement and Online Learning Mgr. position. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase membership engagement in association networks and education programs. Our ideal candidate is a personable and energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with a small team of professionals and representing the Association in a variety of situations.
MFM is a HYBRID work environment, candidates must be in the Chicagoland area to be considered.
Organizes and manages the activities of MFM Member Networks to increase value of and expand member participation in Network teleconferences, electronic communications, online learning programs, and in-person education sessions at various events.
Works with Network Chairs and MFM staff to develop agendas, schedule speakers, arrange CPE credit, and promote participation in quarterly MFM Network teleconferences.
Works with Network Chairs and MFM staff to facilitate communications among Network members between quarterly calls, including email correspondence, social media posts, and “town hall” teleconferences.
Works with Network Chairs and members to identify speakers and topics for on-line and in-person MFM education programs.
Identifies topics and issues for the creation of new MFM Networks.
Works with corporate partners and media/entertainment financial professional groups to identify and develop content for Network virtual conferences and online learning programs.
Tracks registrations/provides post-event reporting including evaluations summary
Serves as host/moderator for all Distance Learning Webinars
Processes CPE certificates for qualified recipients
Monthly membership reporting – run database reports, track progress or regress of membership growth
Data analytics - identify trends, provide insights & analyze expectations, experiences, & feedback from all members and their respective leaders
Demonstrated ability to provide quality member service and to lead and balance work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
High level of initiative, creativity and excellent follow-through is essential.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, flexible and collaborative with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude is a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite a must; knowledge and experience with Canva, Photoshop, Social Media Platforms and Memberclicks/Personify (or other association management programs) preferred but not a must.
Full-time (M-F 8am - 5pm)
Hybrid Work Environment (~1-2 days in office/3-4 days remote)
Member/Client Services & Support: 1-3 years
Bachelor's (Preferred but not a deal breaker)
Association Management/Non-profit: 1-3 years(Preferred but will consider related experience)
The job may require some overtime during busy periods, such as when launching a new campaign or event. The work is generally fast-paced and deadline-oriented, so the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is essential. The job requires some overnight travel 4-5 times throughout the year.
