Association & Conference Group (ACG) is hiring a full-time Account Executive to join our growing team. Success in this position relies on leadership, communication, and organization. If hired, you will serve as the primary contact for one to three associations. You will wear a variety of hats to support your clients. The right candidate will oversee strategic and operational functions for our clients. To be successful, you should have a passion for leading teams, project management, events, and enjoy juggling multiple tasks and priorities. You
- Leadership experience with an eye toward client partnership and a desire for growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with video conferencing and virtual technology
- The ability to lead teams and delegate
- Comfortable presenting to senior executives on topics of importance to the association
- Strategic thinking skills paired with the ability to implement/complete operational tasks

The Position
- Manages and acts as the main point of contact for one to three professional associations
- Responsible for delivering a high level of service aligned to scopes of work
- Direct and oversee work of assigned client management team
- Oversee all client-related strategy
- Engagement with all stakeholders including Executive Committee, Board of Directors, committee chairs, volunteers, sponsors, members
- Attends all board meetings and prepares agendas, takes minutes, monitors action items
- Assist in the development of annual budget and provides monthly financial reporting
- Works with team to deliver communications, marketing, finance, and membership strategies and measures results of initiatives
- Manage membership recruitment and retention campaigns
- Oversee and organize all chapter-related activities at association conferences
- Work with team to plan and manage event setups, registrations, and production tasks
- Build relationships and the value of ACG through prompt response to calls, messages, emails, and reports
Position Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in the events or association industry
- CAE certification required
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and tasks
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational proficiency
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology solutions
- Demonstrate superior project management skills
- Must be able to function as part of a team in a shared services environment
- Capable of setting priorities when multiple demands are present
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Zoom
- Ability to work independently from a virtual location
