We are seeking a Manager, In-Training & Fellows Programming to oversee initiatives for the Endocrine Society’s training, self-assessment, and new content development for those engaged in academia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the Society’s education initiatives by managing our Fellows Training Series, Education Case Cards and other new products developed with the Clinical Endocrine Education Committee (CEEC). You will also be engaged in the set up and delivery of these products in the Society’s learning management system.
What you’ll bring to the job:
- BA/BS degree required.
- At least 3 years of prior experience in adult education, project management or equivalent experience in an association. Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional presence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to work with a diverse group of stakeholders (staff, committee members, learners, collaborators, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Significant interest in adult education and medical training.
- Be highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to prioritize team efforts to use limited resources efficiently.
- Capacity to recognize the contributions of all team members, both internal and external, in dealings with members and collaborators.
- Ability to travel and work weekends or after-hours, on occasion.
- Appropriate technical skills required for proficiency in the use of technology (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, database management, etc.) and able to learn new technology as required.

What you’ll own:
Serve as primary staff liaison to support the work of the Clinical Endocrine Education Committee (CEEC) by:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design workplans and identify opportunities for educational content development through facilitating and leading meetings and communications and implementing projects.
- Collaborating with committee chair and members to address concerns and complete project deliverables on time, including managing challenges as they arise.
- Planning and managing committee initiatives and task forces (i.e., In-Training Exam (ITE) Steering Group, Fellows Training Series (FTS) Steering Group, Endocrine Residency Working Group) and acting as staff resource for these groups.
- Supporting the creation and implementation of education-focused sessions and programs at the annual meeting, along with multiple project meetings and launches.
- Soliciting committee member appointments, meeting participation, collecting, and maintaining required faculty forms, and processing honoraria and travel reimbursements.
Drive development and delivery of educational products for in-training, fellows, and program directors (ITE, FTS, Endocrine Residency Curriculum) and new products through:
- Identifying potential challenges and concerns alongside the workgroup chair(s) and team to develop solutions to issues such as schedule adherence, workgroup member concerns, and quality of content.
- Managing and supporting faculty for content development including identifying experts, collaborating with member leaders to identify content area gaps and strategies to fill them, and providing educational design and digital learning strategy.
- Collaborating with Member Engagement staff and relevant committees and working groups as appropriate in the development of endocrine pipeline initiatives.
- Entering content into online platforms and maintaining/updating to ensure uniformity across them and strategizing best ways to present educational content.
- Providing strong customer service on products and programs, including creating user-facing guides and implementing enhancements.
- Developing necessary required outcome reports and updates including sales trends, evaluation data, and question performance data.
- Developing content maintenance and improvement timelines to ensure flagship products remain up to date.
- Guiding development of publications with internal and external stakeholders, including developing promotional pieces and communications plans.
- Managing grant proposals and reconciliations as requested.
- Collecting and maintaining required documentation required by accrediting bodies.
Manage day-to-day activities for projects within the learning management system and maintains digital elements of projects including:
- Maintaining program pages and updating continuing activities year to year.
- Creating new content (i.e., modules, courses, webforms) as needed to support content creation and project completion.
- Designing and maintaining courses and modules for FTS, Education Case Cards, and other products including ITE.
Other duties as assigned.
