NAMB is seeking an experienced, energetic, and creative Operations Specialist to assist in the execution and implementation of the operations activities for all of NAMB’s programs, events, and initiatives.
Board President and Association Administrator
The Operations Specialist will be responsible for the conducting all operations functions relating to the Membership, Certification, and Education activities of the Association.
Serve as the primary member contact person
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails and voice messages
Assist in maintaining the lines of communication between NAMB’s state affiliates and the national Association
Oversee the production and distribution of member welcome packets
Manage the delivery of member benefits and services
Maintain up-to-date and accurate state contact lists and related areas
Primary responsibility for all database updates and updates to membership information on the NAMB website
Distribute monthly membership reports to the Membership Committee
Other duties as may be assigned
Certification and Education Services
Serve as the primary contact person for member education and certification
Be responsible for publishing and implementing the education/certification process.
Assist internal and external stakeholders to the process
Issues Certificates to individuals that complete the classes
Possible travel to class sites and monitor online to conduct check in, testing results, and other activities in support of the class instructor
Update manuals and other course related documents
Update member records with course completion records and expiration dates
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Knowledge and experience in general operational procedures
Ability and desire to execute the operational activities NAMB’s using accountability software.
Experience working in an association, dealing with volunteers and volunteer leadership.
You need to be flexible in your time and be a team player.
You need to be very comfortable working on a computer and you need to be a quick learner of new technology, as we rely on a number of different software platforms to manage different aspects of the Association and its projects in the most efficient manner possible.
