Full time position available immediately with HollandParlette, an association management company (AMC) located at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis. Candidate will be responsible for all accounting functions for eight (8) non-profit professional associations and the AMC. Maintain association checking, savings and investment accounts, process deposits, payments, account transfers, wire transfers, vendor invoicing, assist in the creation and adherence to association budgets and compile information for annual tax returns.
Reconcile monthly financial statements
Management/oversight of association bank and investment accounts
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Payment processing (check, credit card) and deposit
Prepare financial information for state and federal tax returns (returns completed by external vendor)
Develop, maintain and monitor annual association budget and provide strategic financial projections
Manage timely financial document coordination for Board of Director reports
Maintain required national accounting standards
Previous experience with QuickBooks (desktop and online)
5+ years of full-charge accounting/bookkeeping experience
Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
Previous accounting experience with non-profits preferred
Ability to work well independently
Willingness to problem solve and suggest improvements
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Computer literacy with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office
Previous MAC experience preferred (we are a MAC only office)
