The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) has an immediate opening for an Associate Director - Accredited Continuing Education. The individual chosen for this position will serve as the lead education accreditation officer, ensuring that SCCM educational programming complies with regulations identified by ACCME, ACPE and other regulatory bodies. This associate director will work closely with SCCM members and staff to develop and implement high-quality educational activities to ultimately improve patient outcomes ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Managing and expanding educational programs and products within the Review and Assessment Business Line of SCCM is another key component of the position. The Associate Director – Accredited Continuing Education will report to the Director of Education and will supervise three direct reports.

Must have 5+ years of experience with primary responsibility for the ACCME accreditation and re-accreditation process. Others need not apply.
Must have experience in a senior medical education development position with supervisory responsibilities.
Master’s degree in education or related field preferred
Certifications in CE/CME and adult professional medical education preferred
Excellent and proven skills both developing staff and working closely with volunteer medical professionals
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Superior technical skills with Microsoft based tools and use of relational databases
