Membership and Community Administrator

The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) seeks a Membership and Online Community Administrator. This is a new position as the EMDRIA staff is growing.

EMDRIA is an association of 10,000 mental health professionals who specialize in trauma treatment. The administrator would be responsible for the processes for member recruitment and retention including managing renewals, onboarding, and recruitment processes.

The Administrator would be expected to produce reports on results and recommend and implement strategies for improvement, interacting with members and staff to ensure success. Additionally, the Administrator will be primarily responsible for EMDRIA’s Higher Logic Online Communities, monitoring, moderating, reviewing analytics, and recommending strategies to improve engagement and member experience. 

Because EMDRIA is a distributed workforce the position will be located where the successful applicant resides. The core team is in Austin, Texas, and as conditions allow, staff will meet periodically in person through the year for planning and retreat sessions, so some travel will be required. 

EMDRIA has a collaborative, team-based culture. However, to be successful in a distributed workforce a successful candidate must be able to work independently to meet objectives, deadlines, and expected quality.
