SCOPE OF ROLE

Come join the team on the front lines of consumer financial health. The Financial Health Network is seeking a Manager, Membership to join our growing Marketing and Communications team to actively drive impact across a portfolio of organizations from our 160+ members. This is an exciting time in the growth of our Financial Health Network and the Manager will join an energetic and passionate team as we equip and influence financial institutions, fintechs, insurers, lenders, and other financial service industry players to create solutions that meet the needs of everyday Americans. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Membership & Marketing, the Manager will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships, monitoring and delivering against member experience metrics, and deploying member-benefit related marketing & communications activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management

Manages complex projects from start to finish using project management tools and strong communication skills.
Collaborates closely with staff across Financial Health Network and leads project teams.

Relationship Management and Business Development

Manages a portfolio of relationships to drive action on Financial Health.
Surfaces and participates in the development of consulting, grant and/or sponsorship business opportunities.
Quickly builds trust and credibility with a range of external stakeholders such as financial services providers, research partners, and other collaborators.

Responsible for day-to-day aspects of relationship building with our Members which includes ownership of scheduling and leading Member meetings.
Creates, manages, and monitors weekly and monthly membership reports for select assigned members.
Creates communications and marketing recommendations to solve for member benefit usage challenges.
Uses Hubspot and Salesforce to layout and send regular email communications messages directly to members with little supervision.
Responsible for email list management, including the maintenance of clean lists, pulling data from email software and CRM system, as well as monthly reporting.
Monitors monthly email scheduling and works with key stakeholders to optimize email sequencing with the goal of creating a positive engagement experience.
Analyzes member engagement reports to test and optimize action.
Anticipates member needs and identifies opportunities; proactively solves through cross-organizational collaboration.
Project manages select member-facing initiatives.
Meets annual and monthly targets for specific member benefit usage.
Other membership tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A commitment to the mission of Financial Health Network and a desire to positively impact the trajectory of a highly-impactful, national nonprofit
5+ years of experience in account management or marketing, preferably within the financial services or adjacent industries.
Demonstrated commitment to embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across all internal and external stakeholder relationships
Experience working directly with (or selling into) financial services, insurance carriers/brokers, or associations strongly preferred.
Highly polished presentation skills; an ability to communicate with influence and motivate multiple audiences; ability to quickly synthesize data and present succinct, cogent arguments
Strong relationship building skills with a diversity of stakeholder types; demonstrated expertise with a client-centered approach to stakeholder engagement
Strong collaborator and leader with excellent organization and people skills, and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, and multi-task while paying attention to detail
High degree of flexibility to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment and readily embrace change
Ability to commit to up to 10% domestic travel, with occasional evening meetings (approx. quarterly)

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
