Independent contractor to complete assigned professional development programming tasks with minimal supervision. Tasks will generally involve assisting with developing and delivering virtual association programs ranging from small-scale events such as webinars and seminars, to large-scale events such as a virtual annual conference, and other programs as assigned.
As directed, assist the NIRI Programs Department staff in producing, managing and coordinating virtual programs to meet the needs of investor relations professionals and the Investor Relations industry.
Assist in managing all aspects of virtual education program content, speakers, and attendees
Manage virtual event, speaker, and session databases, and maintain associated website content
Build and manage virtual events in virtual event platforms
Pre-record and edit virtual program session presentations
Provide virtual programs attendee support
Other related tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Five to seven years of professional association education programs experience, with specific experience in virtual events preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with professionals at all levels
Demonstrated experience in technology systems and tools such as website content management systems, proficiency with basic HTML, member database systems (netFORUM preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic video recording and editing, virtual event platforms
Capabilities to work off-site, provide internet access and telephone and other tools necessary to complete the job
Travel is not expected, but expenses will be reimbursed if travel is necessary
Ability to work in the United States is required
A self-starter with the ability to successfully work remotely and manage many projects simultaneously
Telecommuting is allowed.
