The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) is an international institute for property and asset managers, providing complete knowledge to take on real estate management’s most dynamic challenges. We have 80 chapters in the U.S. that provide our members with amazing professional experiences--networking opportunities, seminars, learning events, and much more!
We are looking for our next great Region & Chapter Relations Director….someone who has a passion for working closely with volunteer leaders, supporting and growing chapters, and building first-class virtual and live education and training programs.
Some specific responsibilities include:
•Leading and overseeing all aspects of chapter services.
•Developing and managing regional vice presidents to support, strengthen, and manage our chapters.
•Managing activities associated with regional vice presidents including recruiting, training, and coaching.
•Strategizing with our Regional Vice President Committee to determine the key deliverables and design of our chapter leadership retreat.
•Establishing and monitoring a centralized chapter communication strategy and plan.
•Identifying opportunities to increase chapter profitability and success.
•Developing and managing chapter education and training programs.
•Supporting the professional growth of the chapters and conferences liaison

Let your skills shine
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 7 years of progressive experience partnering with volunteer leaders at a nonprofit or association. We would also like the right candidate to have 2 years of experience in a supervisory/team lead role. You will also need to think critically and analytically, be confident working with leaders of all levels, and excel at presenting ideas and delivering presentations.
