We are seeking a proven marketing professional that can think on their feet and is ready to take their career to the next level. This position will help build a newly merged membership & marketing department, craft strategy for promotion of all Association programs and products, and directly oversee execution of all marketing campaigns.
You will work with the director of engagement on the critical efforts of building industry awareness and driving customer engagement. This includes but is not limited to: managing project intake and execution processes, serving as primary liaison to internal stakeholders, development of social media strategy, interfacing with external vendors and member volunteers, maintaining distinct marketing lists based on audience demographics, and tracking campaign data to recommend tactical shifts, program refinements and process improvements.

Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing with deep knowledge of marketing processes, production and ability to act as “account executive” managing internal “clients” and fulfillment of project needs (Association work a plus).
Experience with corporate social media — comfortable managing the association’s and association CEO’s social media presence across multiple platforms
Proven organizational skills – comfort managing multiple ongoing projects to meet deadlines or adjust for changing priorities.
Strong writing skills, including a firm grasp of tone, audience, and clarity.
Strong interpersonal skills – confidence communicating in person, on the phone, and by email.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
Data-driven approach – experience with Google Analytics and SEO best practice and ability to assess campaign performance and strategy with data.
Working knowledge of HTML – ability to make simple text and image changes within various content management systems using basic HTML
Experience with MagnetMail, Basecamp, SalesForce, and NetForum preferred.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally – approximately 10% of the time.
