The Database and Website Manager is responsible for the administration, maintenance and support for all database and website activities. Responsible for annual membership processing, preparing membership invoices, chapter leadership information updates, and monitoring dental school information for updates and changes. Manages the content of the website by uploading department information.
Responsible for operations and integrity of association data and the database.
Develop quality control standards for data integrity.
Manage all database issues to ensure timely resolution.
Responsible for rollout of upgrades and enhancements.
Serve as technical database expert to staff. Work with staff to ensure membership and marketing reporting and processes are in place to support department operations.
Support annual membership processing including updating addresses, uploading members into database, updating chapter leadership information, membership renewals, chapter invoicing, and year-end reconciliation.
Conduct monthly review of membership dues processing. Work with Finance department to reconcile monthly membership numbers.
Uphold quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy of member and prospect records.
Support dental school information collection and updates database with new school administration information.
Manage integration of data between website and database.
Create, manage and run queries and reports. Pull data from database for organizational usage. Support training of staff on generating and pulling reports.
Manage program source coding and segmentation for membership, sales, education, operations, advocacy, etc.
Develop website content strategy.
Maintain content on the website to ensure all information is current.
Conduct analysis with Google Analytics of the performance of the website, including such statistics as users, hits, visitors, and downloads.
Make edits to improve the visual layout, content, usability and presentation of the website using a content management system, currently Sitefinity.
Work with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop a master content calendar for all web pages; coordinate and approve staff content updates.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum five years’ work experience in database and website management, preferably with an association.
Knowledge of association management software, website management and maintenance.
Understanding of how the membership function interacts with entire organization.
Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Accuracy and proficiency with technology, databases, pulling analytics and database reports.
Strong project management skills.
Familiarity with reports required.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; professional demeanor
Excellent written and oral communications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google analytics, Association Anywhere Association Management Software, Sitefinity Content Management System and BOXI Reports a plus.
Must be able to work with a small staff as part of team.
