Selecting the right candidate for our Coordinator, Education Programs position is central to our future growth and success. The Coordinator will be a member of a dynamic team that serves small and large businesses from the US and globally within a highly competitive industry. In addition to providing administrative support, this individual supports all aspects of planning and implementation of association education and leadership programs, both in person and online.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Support the membership in development and administration of in-person education and e-learning programs
Assist with speaker relationships and session content for all NACD educational events
Create and manage evaluations for all NACD educational events
Write promotional content for member communications on educational offerings
Assist with implementation of association webinars including overseeing the technology to deploy the webinars
Assist education team in growing educational offerings to new segments across multiple formats
Provide support for all executive education programs including but not limited to: Emerging Leaders, Duke Executive Education, and University of Industrial Distribution.
The ideal candidate will possess the following traits or qualifications:
Team player who supports co-workers
Strong writing skills and communication skills
Strong technical skills with experience working with databases
Association experience is strongly preferred
Exceptional organizational and follow-through abilities
Solid problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years’ experience in adult education or managing education or similar programs.
