The Member Services Coordinator is responsible for membership and meeting registration support for the society. This customer service and relationship-building position has direct communication with members and will maintain the integrity of the member database. The Member Services Coordinator reports to the Finance and Projects Manager.
The following tasks, duties and responsibilities are the essential functions of this job:
Maintain YourMembership.com database and online system
Generate reports and data analytics related to membership
Integrate and synchronize any import/export of data
Coordinate recruitment emails and dues invoicing
Provide exceptional customer service to current and potential members
Assist in the management of registration for all SIIM meetings to include development of the registration system, processing registrations and onsite meeting registration.
Manage the membership synchronization between the membership and meeting databases
Prepare meeting registration reports
Manage exhibitor personnel registration by coordinating company lists, preparing invoices, data imports, and correspondence with exhibitors
Process meeting and webinar continuing education data to include correspondence with CE recipients
Staff and manage the meeting registration desk at SIIM meetings to include coordination of training of temporary staff at the registration desk
Manage and maintain SIIM Store products
Experience and Education
2-3 years’ experience in database management. YourMembership association management system/AMS, strongly desired
Ability to work as part of a high-efficiency team; meet deadlines; juggle multiple tasks; and be detail-oriented
Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Travel to SIIM events, 1-3 times/year
