We are the National Foundation of Infectious Diseases (NFID), located in Bethesda, MD. Since 1973 we have been dedicated to creating healthier lives through education on the effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan. We are seeking an Education Coordinator to support the planning and execution of all live and online programs. Working with the small but dynamic NFID staff to ensure the success of all continuing education activities, the responsibilities for this position include:
Managing logistical aspects for NFID education programs, ensuring compliance with NFID processes to maintain ACCME accreditation;
Webinar management; and
Committee coordination for Continuing Professional Education committee
This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Professional Education and requires a flexible self-starter who is able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
Two years of experience, preferably in a healthcare/public health-related environment or in a non-profit administrative role

Located in Bethesda, MD, NFID is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to educating the public and healthcare professionals about the causes, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan. NFID is accredited with commendation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and offers continuing nursing and pharmacy education by third party providers.
