The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) represents and advances the interest of organizations that provide home and specialty IV medications to patients at home. NHIA provides education, advocacy, and support to over 350 infusion providers across the country. We are the voice of the home and specialty infusion community and the patients they serve.
NHIA is searching for an experienced Office Manager to lead, oversee, and coordinate the inter-office activities such as membership account services, payroll, accounts payable, and other business –related tasks. Additionally, this position is based in our Alexandria, VA office and provides direction for a small administrative staff.
Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Reviewing and processes payroll
Assisting with onboarding new staff members
Liaises external vendors providing contract services for payroll, HR, and accounting services
Composing documents and spreadsheets to support budget, Board of Director meetings
Assists in planning and logistics for business and social events, i.e. Annual Conference, internal meetings and gatherings, luncheons and other occasions
Maintaining financial databases, analyzing data, and developing reports.
Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within the organization, including contracts, facilities planning, finance, logistics, property management, purchasing and/or security.
Participates in special projects as required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience in accounting principles and software
Experience in non-profit desired but not required
Management experience preferred
