About Michigan Farm Bureau
All About Us
Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies is comprised of Michigan Farm Bureau; MFB, Inc.; the Michigan Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Association, Inc.; Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Michigan; Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company of Michigan; and Community Service Acceptance Company.
Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) is the parent organization of Farm Bureau Insurance. MFB is the state's largest general farm organization, with over 200,000 family members in 67 county Farm Bureaus. MFB is a highly respected champion of agriculture and the rural way of life in Michigan, with members from rural, urban and suburban Michigan.
Some members join to take action on behalf of agriculture, the state's second largest industry. Others join to support Farm Bureau policies. Farm Bureau works on the local level, in Lansing and in Washington D.C. to support action not just on farm issues, but on many of the same things you're concerned about: protection of private property rights and the quality of the rural environment, tax policies and economic growth, and the quality and safety of our food supply. Still other families belong to Farm Bureau so they can take advantage of... our wide range of outstanding member benefits.
Farm Bureau Insurance is dedicated to serving Michigan; and only Michigan. Our company was founded in 1949 by Michigan farmers-members of Michigan Farm Bureau-who wanted an insurance company that worked as hard as they did, gave honest service, and cared about Michigan's future. Those values still guide us today and are a big reason why we are known as Michigan's Insurance Company, dedicated to protecting the farms, families, and businesses of this great state.
