Summary: The International Sign Association (ISA), recognized by the Council of Manufacturing Associations as a “Best Place to Work” in 2018, is seeking an individual who desires an innovative and learning-filled environment. This is a new, multi-faceted position to coordinate strategic initiatives, membership and meetings/events. It is the perfect position for individuals wanting to gain diverse experience, and one that could lead toward increasingly responsible career opportunities. The position serves as a liaison between ISA and its exhibit and industry partners. The role is critical to the success of generating revenue and developing benefits for the organization and its members.
What Success Looks Like (First Year)
This individual will have worked with a world-class events team to help create a highly successful trade show bringing more than 20,000 buyers and sellers to ISA Sign Expo in Las Vegas.
This individual will have gained valuable skills in project management, meeting planning and customer service, allowing opportunities for future career growth.
This individual will have proactively interacted with exhibiting suppliers and distributors and will have created an internal mechanism to report meaningful findings back to ISA staff.
Through building relationships with Affiliated Association staff, this individual will have developed tools to provide a consistent flow of information to stakeholders.
This individual will be recognized for providing valuable reports to staff stakeholders on key benchmark targets, such as membership numbers, renewals and relevant relationships data.
This individual will be viewed as a collaborative team member, who enjoys taking on new challenges.
Assists in the execution of all conferences including ISA Sign Expo, Converge, the National Association of Sign Supply Distributors, four ISA Board meetings & Sign Research Foundation conferences.
Ensures a high standard of member and affiliate customer service with accurate, friendly, and timely response to member inquiries.
Interacts with members and prospects to identify industry needs and works with other departments to responds accordingly.
Assists on projects designed to increase value to existing members and prospective members.
Maintains up-to-date, complete and accurate CRM database of member activities and contact.
Project manages member and non-member acquisition and retention projects.
Assists on affiliated association member and non-member acquisition and retention projects.
Assists marketing and communications team in creating member content for ISA website (signs.org) and affiliated association websites.
Executes membership renewal process including tracking, invoicing, processing payments and receipt distribution.
Coordinates with ISA Affiliated Associations on the exchange of member lists, works with database administrator to maintain accurate membership lists.
Processes event registrations for all conferences and maintains tracking documents.
Assists in managing onsite vendors including food and beverage, audio visual, transportation, security, temps and hotels.
Assists with sponsorship fulfillment for all events.
Assists with onsite meeting management.
Assists with customer service for exhibitors for the tradeshow.
Coordinates staff and VIP housing arrangements for all meetings.
Assists in compiling the pre-conference staff manual for all meetings.
Provides management with monthly progress reports as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility, adaptability and clear thinking required to maintain excellence in customer service and prompt response to member inquires.
Ability to travel occasionally, including weekends.
Excellent project management and organizational skill.
Commitment to team-oriented environment required.
Quick learner and is comfortably working independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office and internet research.
Knowledge of or experience with Salesforce and HubSpot preferred.
