The Account Executive, an essential part of the NGCOA Corporate Partnership team, will be responsible for securing critical revenue through the sale of NGCOA media assets, including but not limited to print and digital advertising, corporate memberships in NGCOA and other promotional services for vendors wishing to reach golf course operators. Success in this job is measured by generating revenue for the association and hitting the budgeted sales goals, especially for Golf Business magazine.
The successful candidate has a proven track record in a fast paced, ever changing, sales environment. You need to have strong communication skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to create lasting relationships. You will have the ability to work well in a team environment while also being a self starter with great time management skills. Your resume and references must demonstrate success in sales, and you must be able to confirm results achieved. You will work closely with all NGCOA staff including marketing, education, and membership departments to help fulfill the needs of your clients.Bonus points if you already have a basic understanding of the golf industry, as well as sales in media assets.
Lead generation and sales funnel development for Golf Business magazine and other assets.
Annual sales of multi-media advertising for Golf Business Magazine, Golfbusiness.com, E-newsletters, and Dedicated Emails.
Create and manage multi-year partnership agreements with existing and new partners.
Travel to key industry meetings and assist in operations, provide strategic introduction, relationship building and networking with key industry professionals.
Participate in multi-departmental team of teams collaboration for strategic planning initiatives.
Partner with Director of Corporate Partnerships to create annual budgets and reporting updates.
Collaborate with other departments to administer and track corporate partnership initiatives.
Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Partnerships and the Director of Marketing to develop a communication strategy that furthers corporate partnership initiatives.
Coordinate with Director of Marketing to deliver metrics to clients.
Collect ad materials from clients and deliver for production.
Follow up on the delivery of agreement benefits to sponsors and partners of the NGCOA.
Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both suppliers and course members
Solid work ethic, and positive, get-it-done-now attitude
Self-motivated enough to work alone, but confident enough to work with a team of demanding colleagues and clients
Competency in Google applications including mail, sheets, and docs.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation will be negotiated based on the candidate’s experience and skills, as well as range commensurate with organizations of similar size and scope of NGCOA. Access to health insurance benefit, 401k and generous PTO are included. Expectations would be five-figure salary plus incentives based on performance.
