This part-time position provides leadership, expertise, management and coordination to the organization’s overall strategic partnership relationships. This position requires experience and expertise in the cultivation, stewardship and relationship-building with a variety of stakeholders. Working collaboratively with the Executive Director, Directors, staff and Executive Board, this position will be responsible for developing new strategic partnerships and maintaining existing relationships.
Represent the association at allied industry events and meetings, as agreed upon and approved by the association’s Executive Director.
Serve as the association's liaison to allied organizations and vendors.
Raise non-dues revenue. Solicit vendors to advertise, exhibit and sponsor with the association, and work to advance these relationships.
Ensure that all partnerships and/or agreements with allied organizations and other corporate vendors support the association's mission and strategic goals.
Identify industry trends that impact veterinary business professional.
Identify collaborative opportunities with allied organizations that promote the association's strategic plan.
Identify new products and services that help to support veterinary business professional.
Identify new potential revenue streams through partnership.
Assist the Executive Director in establishing the annual exhibiting, advertising and sponsorship budget.
Attend association board meetings, educational meetings and conferences as required.
Comply with all of the association's policies including, but not limited to Antitrust, Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct, and Strategic Partnership Guidelines.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Ability to engage participation from all levels, and generate passion for the sponsor/client’s work, both internally and externally.
