Collaborate with SGIA staff and members to compile, develop, edit, proof, update, and maintain effective content encompassing all relevant topics, including page copy, images, video, and audio.
Develop and implement web communications strategies to maximize SEO and increase web traffic and conversion rates.
Produce content schedules and audits to ensure content is up to date.
Organize user testing and market research projects to ensure that content is relevant to respective audiences.
Aligning web content with social media channels.
Adherence to brand and style standards.
Ability to deploy website requirements using the most effective software and web technologies.
A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, web publishing, or related field.
5+ years of experience managing website content.
High level mastery of planning and managing websites using content management systems.
Working knowledge of Drupal.
Exemplary writing, editing, and proofing copy skills.
Thorough understanding of leading browsers and web interfaces including their strengths and weakness for both PC and Apple computing environments.
