The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) is increasing its eLearning staff to answer the needs of its members. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop in-depth knowledge and skills in an area that is growing in popularity.
Some of the duties in this position include:
Maintaining, scheduling, and producing webinars.
Coordinating and managing the APIC Fellows program
Assisting and supporting online course development
Serving as course administrator for selective learning labs
Working with the eLearning staff team on growth of products and programs in APIC’s learning management system
Updating the website with course additions and changes
Serving as primary contact for current and prospective online education participant calls/emails and the APIC Fellows program.
Assisting with the Professional Development Committee
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma with some college level learning (required). A BA is preferred. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an association or non-profit setting
Program and project management experience is helpful and preferred
Excellent administrative and computer skills with an ability to use the MS office suite to produce documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (must be a team player)
Experience working with committees and volunteer management
Familiarity with webinar platforms, e.g., GoToMeeting or WebEx
Ability to effectively communicate with relevant staff on issues relating to customer service
Strong interest in learning new technology regarding webinars, online courses, and the learning management system.
